Presteligence Announces Successful First Quarter

North Canton, OH, June 4, 2004

Presteligence, Inc. formerly the Prepress Division of Graphic Enterprises Inc. would like to announce a very successful first quarter in 2004.

Recent first quarter contracts received by Presteligence include The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, MS and The Spokesman-Review of Spokane, WA for ad infinitum, the electronic tearsheet and invoicing hosted service. Presteligence also reported receiving a contract from The Bradenton Herald, FL for BlackMagic News Extra, which provides the newspaper with color calibrated hard copy proofs.

Installations
Internet Proofing System (IPS) installations in the first quarter of 2004 consisted of The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Morris Communications of Augusta and The Greenville (SC) News. IPS allows newspapers to proof RIPed pages over the Internet, apply sticky note annotations and accept or reject the job.

The Pensacola News Journal, Tucson Newspapers and the Press Democrat at Rohnert Park had Presteligence’s Ink Presetting installed. The Press Democrat also had a full-res RIP installed. BlackMagic was installed at AGT-Detroit in Sterling Heights, MI; Printer International in New York, NY; Patriot News of Harrisburg, PA; and at Litho Art of New York.

In addition, Sports Seoul Washington of Springfield, VA purchased a copy of Image Express Prepress, a Windows-based OPI server software. Presteligence also sold a CL30 broadsheet color proofer to the Roanoke Times of Virginia.

International sales of BlackMagic News Extra include purchases of eight copies by IHT of Europe and three copies of the software IHT of Asia. Asahi System International of Japan purchased 25 copies of PDF RIPCheck. Seoul Systems of Korea purchased a copy of Image Express OPI server software.

Upgrades
Tribune Publishing purchased customer software development for the IPS, which the company plans to continue rolling out to its individual publishing properties. Also, several companies in the first quarter purchased upgrades for their current software with Presteligence, including Albuquerque Publishing (three RIPs), Publishers Printing of Shepherdsville, KY (BlackMagic News Extra and multiple RIPs), Indianapolis Star (BlackMagic Driver for Epson), Atlanta Jouranl-Constitution (multiple RIPs), Cox Ohio Publishing of Dayton, OH (11 RIPs).
