Many October 1st 'Go Live" Dates for e-tearsheets North Canton, OH, September 21, 2006 Waco Tribune-Herald (TX) , Kalamazoo Gazette (MI) , NJN Publishing (PA), Santa Rosa Press Democrat and Star-News (Wilmington, NC) have all officially set their 'Go Live" date as October 1. As of September 30th, Star-News, who has been using adinfinitum for awhile, will stop mailing paper tearsheets to their Adinfinitum users. NJN will also give their advertisers time to adjust to e-tearsheets and hope to eliminate the physical copies in January 2007. Waco, however, will be eliminating the paper tearsheets with October invoices. "It's a win-win situation for everybody- the paper and our advertisers. It costs a lot of money to produce extra newspapers for tearsheets plus the payroll involved in pulling them. We reduce costs while the advertiser has immediate access without waiting on the mail, " says Donna Tadlock, Controller at Waco. Waco will pursue eliminating the paper invoices in the future. Many of our Customers plan of attack in the implementation of Adinfinitum is three-fold. The first stage is to get all the PDFs and files flowing and processing successfully. The processing notifications aid in verifying that Adinfinitum received all the files it should have received. Communicating to the advertisers about the switch from paper tearsheets to electronic tearsheets is the next logical step. Most newspapers will enclose a letter with their monthly invoices of this change. Times-News in Hendersonville, NC mailed three notifications to their clients. The first alerting them that e-tearsheets are coming, the next one stated e-tearsheets are available, and third indicated that all physical tearsheets would be discontinued.
