PAGE PAIR/IMPOSITION:
Reduced manpower and number of errors in the production prepress department where time was formerly spent manually composing pages. Pages were often cut off, placed in the wrong position, or even duplicated.

PAGE APPROVAL:
The Newsroom approves all pages before going to plate. This has saved bad plates on many occasions and therefore minimizes consumable costs. The page approval gives the newsroom one last look at the page, post-rip, with information about true color separations

ROI:
Easiest way to quantify the savings and ROI is the dedicated 40 hours per week that was eliminated upon using NewsXtreme 100%. Over a 5 year period, including the hours saved from the prepress position, an ROI of at least 20% is estimated to be achieved

The newsroom likes NewsXtreme because they can get a visual of exactly where they are in the process at any point, they have actually embraced the process fully, which is sometimes a challenge with editorial departments.
